(三）作为形而上学的哲学
一旦将众生或整个众生划分为“质”和“量”两个并列的方面，就不再是“形而上学”意义上的“哲学”了。在这个问题上，王的说法比较模糊：
《易经》的关键动词是变化，数学的核心动词是运算。运算是变化的抽象反映，事物的变化必须体现在数学运算中。数学问题也有哲学内容。数学也是哲学的反映。虽然不能说运营的概念涵盖了变更的概念，甚至不能说变更的概念涵盖了运营的概念，但可以说“变更”和“运营”这两个概念一定有重叠的地方。彼此（交叉点）。因此，通过数学运算，我们可以洞察事物变化的某些规律。[21]
