Huang Jianhua is a grassroots mediator in Sanhe Town, Hongze District, Huai 'an City, Jiangsu Province. After his discharge from the army, he has been working at the grass-roots level for 47 years and engaged in mediation work for 30 years. Through his mediation, there are more than 2000 cases, many families on the point of breaking up are reconciled, and many contradictory parties have put aside past differences and made peace with each other.
The "Lao Huang Mediation Studio" in the town justice department and the "Family Mediation Studio" in his home have become a good place for people around to mediate conflicts and talk.
After his retirement, Huang continued to work as a mediator in the town justice department. Although he has many years of experience, he continues to learn all kinds of laws and regulations. In his words, it is "never too old to learn".
In spite of his old age, he often went deep into the countryside to understand the conditions of the people, visited the house to mediate, and worked conscientiously. He was praised by the people around him, and at the same time, he was awarded many times at all levels.
On July 1 ， 2021, Huang Jianhua was awarded the "memorial medals for 50-year Party membership" by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee. He felt very proud and proud.
He said, "He will continue to work at the grass-roots level to resolve conflicts for the people around him and become a 'veteran' who will never leave the army on the mediation front."
